Brighton Attributes

During your time with us, you'll develop seven key attributes, a set of qualities and skills that can help you to achieve your future plans, and make a difference in the world. These are:

  • critical thinker,
  • engaged global citizen,
  • confident communicator,
  • inclusive collaborator,
  • resilient self-advocate,
  • solution-oriented innovator
  • creative and confident user of digital technologies.

You'll be able to explore these attributes and put them into practice both within and outside your course by taking part in wider opportunities, including joining a society or sports club, becoming a student ambassador or Course Rep or working with staff to develop a more inclusive curriculum.
