How do web standards make the internet usable from every device?

Writing standards-based code for the web means that people can see it on any web enabled device, which knows how to display the webpages because they are based on the same standards. This session will give you a flavour of what it is like to study web development as part of a computing course, where we focus on the functionality of the pages.
